Having grown up in the Middle-East, the company founder Jan Russell got the travel bug from an early age. She has subsequently spent nearly 25 years in the hospitality industry. Russell, formerly known in the industry as Jan Etherington, pursued a career in sales and marketing in the UK and overseas with major hotel chains including Sheraton, Hilton and Conrad. Jan turned to recruitment when she joined Berkeley Scott in 1994 where she spent 6 happy years. She now brings to the table over 14 years recruitment experience in the London, domestic and International markets.

Etherington Russell recruits from junior to senior levels, operating in the domestic and international markets. Having succeeded in assignments from Glasgow to Dubai we still retain a London specialism. We have completed assignments for most international hotel chains, small privately owned hotels, venues, event companies and contract caterers. Etherington Russell Sales and Marketing (ERSM) was formed to provide a niche recruitment consultancy specialising in sales, marketing, events, revenue and e-commerce roles in the hospitality sector. We work with clients at all levels from single appointments to team building to provisions for new openings and refurbishments. Our enthusiasm and dedication is as strong today as when we first began and we remain totally committed to providing an efficient and cost effective solution.
